Jimmie and I met while we were both active duty U.S. Navy Nurse Corps nurses working with Wounded Warriors at the National Naval Medical Center (now Walter Reed National Military Medical Center) in Bethesda, MD.
I served this great Nation for six years in Chicago, IL; Bethesda, MD; Alexandria, VA; Bremerton, WA; Lemoore, CA; and I also did a short stint on the U.S.S. Nassau in the Mediterranean Sea.
Jimmie is still serving, he is coming up on his 17th year! Time flies when you are having fun I guess....He is currently finishing up a degree as a Nurse Practitioner and will then retire in 5 - 6 more years (to WV full-time!).
Now our Riffle Farms products are considered Homegrown by Heroes :)
