Local Picks for May and How to Cook ‘Em Right
Here at Riffle Farms, we believe your plate should reflect the season — and right now, it’s a delicious time of year!

Spring is stretching into summer, and that means lush pasture meats, bright veggies, and backyard BBQ dreams coming true. Whether you're meal prepping for the week or cooking for a crowd, here's what's fresh and fabulous right now in the shop:
Meat Must-Haves
Pasture-Raised Chicken – Perfect for grilling, roasting, or smoking. Our favorite? Wings roasted with lemon and rosemary.
Grass-Fed & Finished Bison and Beef – Lean, clean, and packed with flavor. Great for burgers, kebabs, or steak night done right.
Heritage Pork Cuts – From chops to shoulder roasts, pork is peaking with flavor thanks to that spring forage.
Pro tip: Ask us about our hot weather sausage pairings. Yes, that’s a thing.
Eggs, Eggs, and More Eggs
Our pasture-raised eggs are in full swing. Golden yolks, sturdy whites, and flavor that’ll ruin you for store-bought forever. Eat 'em soft-boiled with salt or whip up a quiche with local cheese and herbs.
From the Fields
Greens Galore – Spinach, chard, and kale are looking mighty fine right now.
Radishes & Spring Onions – Crisp, spicy, and perfect raw or roasted.
Peaches – coming soooooooon!
Always in the Shop
House-Made Lemonades – Honey, lavender, mint, and rose are stealing the show. We have lavender syrups you can take home to your own bar, too!
Steamed Bison Hot Dogs – The ALMOST FAMOUS. If you haven’t had one yet, fix that.
So come on by — bring your grocery list or just your appetite. We’re stocked with what’s growing now and raised right — no weird stuff, just good food from good folks.
Open daily 10a–7p
