You are what you eat.
You’ve probably heard this regarding your eating habits, but it can also apply to digesting negativity. If you find yourself indulging in negative social media posts or consuming the latest gossip, which can increase your overall anxiety level, you might also find yourselves with a stomach ache.
This week, take a bite out of something positive so you can feed your mind with something good. Check out a local farm and see what they have been up to. It’s calving and lambing season, so tiny, furry farm babies are all over farm social media right now.
It’s also CSA Week! Treat your body and your mind to a sustainably healthy habit!
What is a CSA? Traditionally, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation. The growers and consumers provide mutual support and share the risks and benefits of food production. CSAs directly connect consumers and producers to help create a more profitable and transparent local food system. CSAs have been around for a while, but have adapted to changes in the market, such as the new prevalence of subscription boxes, and customer preferences.
